SPECTATOR PARKING:
There are a variety of choices for parking around the INB Performing Arts Center and the Spokane Convention Center. Perhaps the most convenient is the covered parking garage below the Exhibit Halls. The parking lot across the street from the INB Performing Arts Center is a convenient location for events held in the Ballrooms and Meeting Rooms. Click the image above to download a map of alternate parking locations.
The INB Performing Arts Center and the Spokane Convention Center do not own nor operate these lots and cannot be held responsible for anything that may or may not happen there. There are also a large number of parking meters in the area. Among the exciting additions to come with the Exhibit Hall opening is a new covered parking structure and the resurfacing and upgrading of the lots to the south.
RV AND ADDITIONAL PARKING:
EWU Riverpoint campus (near Perkins restaurant on Olive Street)
Closed down COMP USA bldg (near Wendy’s on Division and Ruby)

RULES:
Coolers, outside food or beverages or personal chairs of any kind WILL NOT be allowed in the Spokane Convention Center.

Spectators WILL NOT be allowed on the mats at any time, this includes all age groups. This has worked well in the past; it ensures good visibility for the spectators in the seats and increases the speed and efficiency of the event.

Only 2 coaches per team will be allowed at each mat. The Head Coach/Program Director for each team is responsible for requesting the wristbands needed for their team. Only 2 all-access wristbands will be allowed per team (Mats and pairing room.) All other wristbands will be for the mat area only. Each team must submit a list of registered coaches. To submit your list of coaches please EMAIL Theresa at MMWC-JCMT@live.com upon receipt of this letter, no later than April 2, 2014. Coaches will need to check in with ID at the coaches table to receive their wristband. We will be limiting the amount of wristbands issued to each team again this year. Please use the attached excel template to return your list of coaches, be sure to indicate which coaches will be receiving the wristbands and who will be getting the all access wristbands.

Weigh-in begins at 6:00 AM and ends at 8:00 AM. Late arrivals WILL NOT be allowed to register. Matches will begin at 9:30 AM.

Fingernails must be clipped BEFORE registration begins.

Each team is requested to bring trash bags to “police” their own areas. We really want to show our appreciation to Spokane Convention Center for allowing us to host this tournament in their facility.

Make sure that you know which scoring tables is your team’s responsibility (sent in a separate letter from the league). Please send qualified people to work the table. If you lack qualified scorers and timers it is your responsibility to correct this prior to the tournament. This is a league requirement that was voted by the coaches to ensure that those wrestling will be charted accurately and fairly.

If a child gets sick or needs to leave the tournament early they MUST check out with a JCMT Event Coordinator so the wrestler can be removed from the brackets.

Reserving of seats prior to the event will not be allowed.

When the wrestlers are announced, runners will accompany the wrestlers and carry the bout sheets to and from the scoring tables. Only the runners will be allowed to handle the bout sheets. NO EXCEPTIONS

Bring your best behavior, sportsmanship, cleanliness and respect.

We will be hosting approximately 1500 wrestlers for a one day tournament. The sheer numbers indicate that this will be a lengthy event. Please help your parents understand what a unique opportunity this is for everyone involved, and also how fortunate they are to spend an entire day watching and supporting their wrestlers in this event. Please don’t disrespect our club by complaining about the length of the tournament.

Wrestlers are required to wear wax or mouth guard if they have dental appliances. Approved hair cover MUST be worn prior to wrestling.

Hair covers must be shown at weigh-ins.

Registration Fee for Wrestlers $15.00
Spectator fee $3.00 per person (children and adults 12 years and older)
